What is polyurethane concrete leveling?
It's a process that raises uneven concrete by injecting high-density polyurethane foam through dime-sized holes. The foam expands beneath the slab, fills soil voids, and lifts the concrete back to its original position — a clean, fast, long-lasting fix.
How is poly leveling better than mudjacking?
Both are forms of slabjacking, but poly foam wins on almost every count: it's waterproof and won't erode like cement slurry, it needs much smaller drill holes, it's lightweight so it doesn't re-compress the soil, and it cures in minutes instead of days — so you can use your concrete almost immediately.
Why does concrete sink?
Three main culprits: soil erosion (water washing away the dirt under your slab), poor soil compaction when the concrete was poured, and heavy loads pressing the slab down over time. North Texas clay soils that swell and shrink with moisture make settlement especially common in DFW.
